(CNN)Chuck Blazer, the corrupt former U.S. soccer official turned FIFA whistleblower, has been banned from all football-related activities for life by the Ethics Committee of world soccer's governing body. Blazer, who served on FIFA's Executive Committee between 1997 and 2013 and as CONCACAF general secretary from 1990 to 2011, pleaded guilty to a string of charges brought by U.S. prosecutors including racketeering, wire fraud, money laundering and income tax evasion in 2013.
